2016 – a rollercoaster year for the agency
It’s been another busy year here at Yes Agency, with lots of fantastic new clients and a host of exciting new projects, including working with: Michelin, WRAP, Merck, Northumberland College, and Birmingham City Council, as well as providing work for our valued existing customers, CITB, AHDB, Talent Match, Dr Martens among others.
This year marked a special anniversary for the business as we celebrated 15 years of Yes Agency. To mark the occasion the team all headed to Alton Towers, where we enjoyed priority passes for the rides and a celebratory meal in the new Rollercoaster Restaurant.
The team has also embraced a healthier lifestyle with FitBits being provided to the team in the summer. A Yes Agency group was also created via the app, so we can compete against each other for who takes the most steps over a set period – Pete has yet to be beaten!
One other, amazing, highlight of the year was the overwhelming news that Amanda McDonald, a Director of Yes Agency, who’s been a driving force of the agency for over 8 years, saw her diagnosis of terminal cancer downgraded to secondary cancer. The whole team is delighted with this revised diagnosis and, as always, you can continue to follow Amanda’s story on her personal blog http://ukbreastcancertips.blogspot.co.uk/.
As 2017 draws nearer, we are already midway through several projects that will be ready to launch as soon as the new year hits. We are also preparing to turn our offices into a local creative media hub in the new year, providing rentable office space with flexible options for freelancers and small businesses alike. Anyone interested in getting involved is welcome to get in touch to find out more.
2016 has been a year of many ups and downs, but by far the highs outweigh the lows! Let’s hope next year is as promising and enjoyable.
