Will the downsizing of broadsheet newspapers really halt the decline in circulation?
No. We increasingly want news to be immediate, we want different perspectives and we want to feel what it’s like to be close to the heart of a story. The huge range of online news sources, live video footage, coupled with the proliferation of personal blogs means we get all this when we want it. Why wait for tomorrow/s paper? I can’t see my kids reading either broadsheets or tabloids in the way my parents did.
